Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Mui Mui - they’re all names that spring to our mind when someone says luxury.
But there was a time when finding these brands in the US market was a luxury in itself.
Joining us today is the man who introduced US customers to the world of luxury fashion - David Assil.
David is the founder of Madison Style and he’s been in the fashion industry for the last 33 years. Madison Style is one of LA’s oldest luxury resale boutiques. Join David and Daniel as they discuss how this shift has helped Madison Style maintain greater control over their products and offer customers a more personalized experience. Hey Budai Nation,
I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll be speaking with Angela Clark from Patagonia on this episode of The Ecom Show. With over 50 years of experience under its belt, this three-billion-dollar brand is one of the biggest names in the outdoor clothing industry.
You may have heard of them back in 2022, when the founder Yvon Chouinard, took the world by surprise by announcing his retirement news. He transferred 98% of the company to a non-profit entity called Holdfast Collective, which will oversee that the company’s annual profit, about $100 million per year, will be used to support the fight against climate change. The other 2% has been retained by Patagonia Purpose Trust, an entity overseen by members of the family, and a group of close advisors to ensure that the company makes good on its decision to be socially responsible. Patagonia’s success can be attributed to its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and thoughtful leadership.
We’re extremely delighted to welcome Angela Clark, the head of the digital studio at Patagonia, to this episode of The Ecom Show. Angela has worked for several iconic American brands like True Religion and Levi Strauss prior to her role at Patagonia. In this episode, we will be discussing her expertise in digital and e-commerce marketing, and explore the leadership approach behind Patagonia’s global success.
