Owning a big name sports team may seem glamorous, but in reality it's not for the faint-hearted. 

To provide incredible insight into what it's really like, we're joined by Adelaide 36ers owner and chairman Grant Kelley. 

Grant leads Holdfast Assets, which has owned the license for the Sixers, one of the NBL's most iconic teams, since 2017.

He oversaw the Sixers’ high profile move from its suburban stadium to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and has capitalised on an exciting era of growth for the NBL and basketball in Australia.

The Adelaide 36ers is just one of a number of assets held by Holdfast under Grant's leadership, where there's a big focus on investing in agriculture and tourism as well as sport.

Grant is a recognised leader in private equity, real estate investing, fund management and business strategy. 

In this interview, Grant lifts the hood on the Adelaide 36ers revealing the economics of ownership where well over $10 million has been invested so far.

He also talks about learning the dynamics of a team roster, championship goals, the NBL and the NBA, the wider investment opportunities in sport and much more.
