The residents and shopkeepers in Roseburn lodged a petition to demand that the council looks again at air pollution. In particular they want nitrogen dioxide levels on the south side of the street assessed since they believe they will be higher due to the canyoning effect in this space.

The Inner House of the Court of Session delivered a unanimous decision regarding the unlawfulness of prorogation. We spoke to Joanna Cherry the lead petitioner and Jolyon Maugham from the Good Law Project who are coordinating the crowdfunding to pay for the action.
