Realizing that an international educational tour of 7-10 days could be both affordable and feasible, Vishal had a game-changing idea. Inspired by his own journey, he founded LWT (Learning While Travelling) with the mission to provide students the kind of exposure he wished he had at a young age.
On January 30, 2018, Vishal officially registered LWT Business Private Limited. His startup aimed to offer students immersive experiences, combining education with travel. LWT's programs provided students with invaluable learning opportunities, similar to what Vishal experienced during his world tour.
Through LWT, Vishal revolutionized student experiences, enabling them to gain global exposure, expand their networks, and enhance their skill sets. By bridging the gap between education and exploration, LWT empowered students to pursue their dreams of pursuing an MBA or starting their own ventures.

Shadman Majid is the cofounder of Sohopathi. Sohopathi (www.sohopathi.io) is a social learning app that helps teachers create “learning groups”, a place where students can learn from teachers and peers alike. The core idea is to create a classroom like environment where students can act as co-teachers, guided by a principal teacher. Built around the group learning concept, the app facilitates communication not just between teacher and student, but also among students. As a result, students have a richer, more rewarding and more effective learning experience.
Inside the app, the students can join any learning group from a recommended list of groups. Once enrolled, they get access to high quality learning materials (videos and notes) from the teacher. They can also help each other by uploading their own notes and videos.
To ensure the quality of the contents, a peer review system is implemented. The contents of any subject/topic are reviewed by other teachers in the app, having the same subject expertise.

In today’s episode of TKES, we have, Nadia Bennett, a former school leader, is the founder of When Brown Girls Lead™, an
education consulting firm that leads the way for schools to become anti-racist learning environments through culturally-relevant leadership development and mentorship.
Before becoming a thought leader in education-related diversity, equity and inclusion, Nadia’s time as a school leader was truly noteworthy. Serving as a principal in north Philadelphia (one of the most underserved areas in the country), Nadia recognized that there was important work to be done. This culminated in a career of over 15 years under Nadia’s leadership as a principal and executive director in which ELA test scores doubled, student attendance increased and teacher retention rates spiked, earning her a rare commendation from the New Jersey Department of Education.
As a proud Black female entrepreneur, she currently leads her team at When Brown Girls Lead™ to make sure all students are receiving the equitable education they deserve.
Her passion for championing change was strengthened during her time at Dillard and Howard Universities, where she received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Education Administration and Policy. In addition to supporting anti-racist environments in education through her current work, she is also pursuing her doctorate degree.
When she is not helping make impactful change across the country, Nadia keeps her mind primed by enjoying time with friends, reading, and traveling internationally. She has also been known to binge watch a show or two.
