Is having a child today a $500,000 decision?

Well, you will probably spend that much on them!

The question is, when will you spend it - at the beginning of their lives when it can make the most impact....or at the end?

I believe strongly that parents can "control" whom their kids ultimately marry.  They need to start the dialogue early, counterbalance the "romance" myth peddled by Hollywood, and most of all...raise children to their max potential.

Most parents don't actually want their kids accelerated to the max.  They talk a lot of trash.  They like to sign-up for fancy-sounding classes and enroll them in "reputable" schools.  They want to just check-the-box and alleviate themselves of guilt. They want to just delude themselves that they have invested....that they care.  And this makes me sad!
