In this episode of The Eisenstein Effect, I chat with rapper, actor, and comedian Chore Boy (aka Dan Rahrig) about his latest rap albums, how he got into hip hop, his feelings on art and collaboration, his tattoos, his religion, his tribe, #BelovedGang, and more! PLUS, he raps a verse off his new album and he FREESTYLES!

Chore Boy is a rapper, comedian, actor, & cultural personality based in Chicago. You can catch him around Chicago performing as a solo act, or as a member of Dave Korea, Jamprov, or B.C.G.M. Any which way on any given day it's #BelovedGang. Chores is currently dropping a song a week online in addition to his debut album D.R.U.G.S. out April 30.

In this episode, I talk with musical actor and improviser Amber Linde about her theater and musical theater background, her love of coaching, and how music improv and therapy work together.

Amber Linde has performed on cruise ships for Second City and you can currently catch her performing musical improv and sketch, as well as coaching it, all around Chicago. She is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, iO Chicago and The Second City Music Conservatory. Soon she’ll be attending graduate school to pursue the intersection of improv and social work.

Chris Churchill is a writer, actor, comedian, and musician: the consummate renaissance man. Originally from Kansas City, Chris has been in the Chicago comedy and music scene since 1997. Among the last to study under improv guru Del Close, he has performed all over Chicago (including The Empty Bottle AND Second City) with his band/sketch comedy group "Los Shut Up" (1999-2004).

Chris wrote and directed "Chair" in 2007 which was highly recommended by the Chicago Reader. He also made the no budget movie, "Thirsty Blackwater's Karaoke Showdown" in 2012. He continues to write plays and is currently working on a documentary about his mother's extreme mental illness.

Chris Signed with Mint 400 records in July 2015 for his audiobook, "Ballad of the Small Talker" and will start releasing other spoken word and musical projects through Mint 400 in the coming year.

You also might catch him playing with his pet birds or driving around town in The Story Bus for the Dolores Kohl Educational Foundation.
