The Eleventh Hour with Engage Work Faith

This is the second in a two-part series of episodes from the event 'Embracing AI: The Future of Work & Other Minor Issues'. The first episode, the keynote talk, is also available on this podcast.

In the show today, we hear from the event expert panel, who came to talk about artificial intelligence and the future of work (both presently and in the future). We also hear questions from the audience, and the results of a fun "real time" survey on AI (which produced interesting results!).

Engage was fortunate to have on the panel:

A brief bio for each speaker is within the narrated audio introduction.

It's an action packed episode and full of fascinating content. We hope you enjoy listening.

Thanks and God bless,

Jon (Engage)

In November 2024, Engage Work Faith put on an event named 'Embracing AI: The Future of Work & Other Minor Issues'.

The keynote address was by Stephen Driscoll - pastor, tech realist, and author of the book 'Made In Our Image: God, Artificial Intelligence & You'. Stephen spoke powerfully about what the Bible tells us regarding AI and the issues surrounding it.

Listen to the main talk of the night in this fascinating episode; and look out for Episode 2: 'AI Expert Panel and Q&A Session'!

Thanks and have a wonderful week ahead,

Jon (Engage)

The 2024 Engage Work Faith Foundation Dinner was a wonderful time of learning more about God's great mission, building friendships, and enjoying delicious food and drink in the heart of Adelaide city.

This year, Mark Peterson (Executive Director - CMS SA/NT) spoke to us about HUMILITY. What is it? How does it apply to us? What are some important things to think about when we consider humility? More specific, what can we learn about Jesus and humility, and how might this help us in our conversations about him, both locally and around the world?

Welcome to the 17th episode of 'The Eleventh Hour' Podcast with Engage Work Faith.

Recently on May 30th, Engage Work Faith ran an event on REST. As well as a panel of experts on this topic, our keynote speaker for the evening was Dr Jonathan Andrews.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Jonathan before he gave his talk, and ask some inquisitive questions!

This episode has two Jonathans in conversation - Dr Jonathan Andrews (Psychologist; Speaker; Writer; Adjunct Associate Professor) in conversation with Jonathan McQueen (Event Lead - Engage Work Faith).

Please see the following links about Jonathan's book 'The Reconnected Heart: How Relationships Can Help Us Heal', which is available at The Wandering Bookseller, Amazon and other book outlets.

Have a great weekend,
