I. Christ was crucified and resurrected for our salvation. – Acts 2:32-36; 

II. The work of Christ calls for a response from us. – Acts 2:37-38;

  III. The right response to God’s conviction leads to salvation and obedience. – Acts. 2:39-41. 

The voice of God seeks to convict us of the truth.

I. Don’t question God’s Word. – Genesis 3:1; 

II. Don’t alter God’s word. – Genesis 3:2-3; 

III. Don’t contradict God’s Word. – Genesis 3:4-6. 

The voice of God never contradicts the Bible.

I. Life is sacred because God values us. – Ps. 139: 1-6; 

II. Life is sacred because God is with us. – Ps. 139: 7-10; 

III. Life is sacred because God created us and has a plan for each of us. – Ps. 139: 13-16. 

God values life and we should too.

I. God will remove fear from those who humble themselves before Him. – Zeph. 3:9-13;

II. God’s presence delivers His people through all harm. – Zeph. 3:14-17; 

III. We will experience eternal restoration in God’s kingdom. – Zeph. 3:18-20.

Fear will be a thing of the past in God’s eternal kingdom.

 I. Act on what God tells you to do. – Matt. 14:22-26; 

II. Fear sets in when you take your eyes off Jesus. – Matt. 14:27-30; 

III. Jesus is there when you return to Him. – Matt. 14:31-33.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. 

I. We can know and experience love because of Christ. – 1 John 3:13-18; 

II. God’s love is in us because God remains in us. – 1 John 4:14-16; 

III. God’s love gives us confidence and dispels our fear. – 1 John 4:17-18. 

There is no room for fear when God’s love is in us.

I. We fear God when we stand in awe of Him as Creator. – Psalm 33:6-9; 

II. We fear God when we willingly surrender to His plans as Lord. – Psalm 33:10-15; 

III. We fear God when we depend on Him as out Shield and Provider. – Psalm 33:18-22. 

The fear of God gives us the foundation to face all other fears.
