I: Embrace your pain so you can move forward. – Gen. 45:1-3;
II. Forgive those who have wronged you. – Gen. 45:4-5;
III. Restore broken relationships. – Gen. 45:9-11.
Relationships can only move forward with forgiveness.

I. Seek God’s wisdom. – Gen. 41:28-32;
II. Follow God’s plan. – Gen. 41:47-49;
III. Be fruitful even in famine. – Gen. 41:50-54.
Trust God to see you through any crisis

I. Keep doing good in the face of injustice. – Gen. 39:21-23; 
II. When you’re a victim, don’t take it out on others. – Gen. 40:4-8; 
III. Don’t be discouraged by delays. – Gen. 40:20-23. 
Press forward in spite of injustice.

. Be careful when things are going well. – Gen. 39:1-7;
II. Resist temptation by having standards and convictions already in place. – Gen.39:8-10;
III. When nothing else works, run! – Gen. 39:11-12.
Remembering what is at stake helps us overcome temptation.

I. Sometimes pitfalls come through no fault of our own. – Gen. 37:1-5; 
II. Animosity and jealousy can cause others to betray us. – Gen. 37:19-24; 
III. God is at work on our behalf even when others abandon us. – Gen. 37:26-27. 
God is at work, even when it is not obvious.

I. Dangers of pride and arrogance. – Obadiah 1-4;
II. The sins of indifference and violence. – Obadiah 10-14;
III. Judgement of offenders and deliverance for the offended. – Obadiah 15-17.
Keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.

I. Micah prophesied the coming King who would shepherd His people. – Micah 5:2-5a;
II. The wise men were led to seek out the messianic King of the Jews. – Matt. 2:1-6;
III. A recognition of who Jesus is should lead us to worship Him. – Matt. 2:9-11.
Jesus became the ultimate fulfillment of the OT promise of a King who would bring peace and justice.

I. A child would be born who will reign on the throne of David forever. – Is. 9:6-7;
II. The birth of the King was divinely announced. – Luke 1:26-31;
III. Jesus is the King who rules forever. – Luke 1:32-33.
God placed all authority on Jesus as the spiritual Messiah, to rule His kingdom and reign on this earth and in all creation now and forever.

I. Jesus’ humble birth in Bethlehem fulfilled the promise of God to David. – Luke 2:4-7;
II. An angel proclaimed the good news that the Savior was born. – Luke 2:8-12;
III. People rejoice when they recognize the truth of salvation. – Luke 2:16-20.
Jesus came for our salvation.
