In this episode I talk with Julie Chard about the kickability program.
The kickability program is an AFL skills based program aimed at children who are on the Autism spectrum or have attention/communication difficulty.
We talk about how the program first got started, how its developed, the aims on and off the field for the program and what she will be doing post Penrith Giants kickability.
We also briefly talk about being parents with children on the Autism spectrum. How, until you have lived with it, you can never truly understand it. We also talk about our dreams for our kids in the future when it comes to Autism.
If your have children with Autism and think this program might be for then, contact Penrith Giants Kickability on Facebook here

In this episode I talk with local Real Estate agent Wayne Teudt. Wayne has 40 years of experience in the industry covering St Mary's, Erskine Park, St Clair and most areas around Western Sydney.
So I thought it be a good idea to have him on to discuss what the market is like in Western Sydney during a year that has proven to be difficult to deal with globally.
With how 2020 is going you would be right to think there would be a negative impact on the market. However, as you will hear from Wayne, it hasn't been as bad as what the media would make it out.
Wayne breaks down everything from how the current changes affect property, the industry reaction to changes and tips for buyers and sellers during these uncertain times.
If you have any questions please feel free to visit Wayne at Professionals Erskine Park.

Hard not to get excited as a Panthers supporter. Even though 2020 is a bit of a strange year there is definitely a 2003 feel to this season for the Panthers.
In this episode I sit down with my friend, and Panthers tragic, Sean Buchanan to re-watch the 2003 grand final.
Imo the best grand final ever played. We talk about the whole 2003 season and the NRL at that time while watching the Panthers beat the Rooster's.
This is part 1. Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed re-watching it.

In this episode I talk to local Mum/Entrepreneur Tara Cameron.
Tara has a story that i'm sure sounds very familiar to a lot of mothers. you have a job that you enjoy, then you have kids and all of a sudden your faced with the decision of going back to work or staying with your little one.
For mothers this is a very hard choice. For Tara she had the added element of having Casey, her 2nd child, born with a rare chromosome deficiency. So for her the decision was quite easy.
She shares the reason why she got started and why she chose to focus on her creativity. She also shares all the ups and downs she has faced so far in her 3 years of running her own business, By Tara Louise.
She shares some great advice for anyone out there who may be creative and unsure how to get started.

Hard to believe that The Empire Strikes Back came out 40 years ago. My mate Joe and I watched it again and discussed the movie afterwards.
May the force be with you!
Had a great chat to Hayley and Samuel from the Facing it Podcast. We talk about where the idea started for their podcast, their own lived experience with mental ill-health, whats the reaction been to the podcast and plans they have for the podcast.
I believe their podcast is a must to listen to. Especially as we start to have more open conversations on the subject of mental ill-health. The more we understand and know, the better equipped we will be to not only deal with mental ill-health for ourselves, but better be in a position to really help friends and family who may be dealing with mental ill-health.
To find out everything that they are up to and how to listen and connect with them, you can go to their website www.facingitpodcast.com
Not only will you find ways to listen to them and connect but you will also find some great information and links to help better educate yourself on the topic of mental ill-health.

This is a little bit of audio from an interview I did with Paul and Melody earlier this year. Really great advice from the young couple. Advice I believe we can all use.
