Shira Hassan is a long time activist whose work focuses on the experiences of girls, boys, transgender and queer youth involved in the sex trade and street economy. She is the co-author of Fumbling Towards Repair and the author of Saving Our Own Lives. Moya Bailey is a scholar, writer, and activist whose work focuses on how race, gender, and sexuality are represented in media and medicine. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Northwestern University.
