In the midst of chaos and tragedy in our world it is difficult to know how to respond, it seems like all our efforts fall flat and we do not make the impact we expect. But it could be we are giving our time and efforts in ministry to different and competing sources, which take away our ability to serve the one who makes our ministries possible.

In celebration of All Saints’ Sunday we remember the faithful of God and all they have done in their lives to witness to the faith, but we remember that we are not disconnected to them because they are gone. Instead we remember what binds all believers together, and the common purpose we all serve in live and in death to God.

The 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation is a time of commemoration and reflection, not on the history of one man but what God has done through that one man to nurture his people and open his Church to all.

The final part in the Exodus narrative and identity formation series, seeing the greatest marker and blessing given to Israel in its travels and which continues on among the people of God to this

day.
