We often talk about how men struggle with expressing their emotions. Or that they don't have the broad range of emotions that perhaps our female counterparts do. That we don't feel as much, we're not as sensitive and we don't really need to work on ourselves. I'm calling bullshit on that. I believe Men are sensitive beings with just as much emotion to work through, but our problem a lot of the time is that we don't really have an understanding of how to deal with our emotions.
One of the most common emotions that we see as men, is anger. We get frustrated, we're upset and as a result the first emotion we tend to go for is anger. But how do we move through this emotion? How do we acknowledge where that anger has come from and what other emotions we could use instead to get our point or feeling across.
Today on the podcast I go through quite a specific situation that I worked through with a client recently. The realisations were so profound that I felt it was a great opportunity to talk them through with you here.
