Do you ever find yourself having the same conversations/battles? Whether the battle is solo or with someone else? And you’re at a point that maybe when the conversation comes up you immediately start to space out because you’re over it and know where it will lead to?

Yeah, me too…that was fully me! But then I noticed that this conversation never STOPPED coming up.

There’s a boundary between tension and productive tension. This idea became engraved into me when I started to notice a pattern between Justin + I. There were times we could effectively overcome something, but then there were also conversations that brought the same emotional charge of anger, frustration, isolation, distance.

Tension plays off of the situation and how it made a person feel.

“You didn’t do the dishes and now I’m frustrated.” To another, it appears so minor, so they instantly are shooting back with rebuttals to protect their Ego.

Have you been here? But have you also noticed that it leads to the two of you spinning for a while until you spin so deep that you get to this point where you just want to say F you and go your separate ways? We’ve been here….multiple times.

Somewhere along the way, we were conditioned to believe that life is meant to be hard. That life is meant to only be lived on the weekends, vacations, and holidays. That it's normal to live through chronic anxiety, depression, sleep issues, depleting relationships, panic attacks, unhappiness, purposelessness, and a substance that makes us feel better.

This is a conditioned belief. A belief that leaves you feeling confused, lost and that something is 'off' or missing.

The pain, the memories, the shame, the guilt, and lack of knowing how to process through these emotions is what leads us to confirm that indeed, life is meant to be lived that way.

If this doesn't feel right for you and you feel there is something deeper to live through, this episode will confirm this new + evolving belief. It will guide you to dream a bit deeper. To allow your heart to feel expansive and excited. To give you the right amount of hope to start living and feeling differently.

Life can evolve so damn quickly, but we have to allow it.

Uproot the beliefs that aren't actually yours and no longer support this season of your life.
Untangle where they stemmed from so you can boldly confirm that it in fact is not yours and you can consciously and confidentially create one that aligns and speaks volumes to your heart.

At some point, you won't want or know how to dance the journey alone. Together, you and I can fully unravel the limitations within your being and allow the depths to unfold. To live happily, freely, expansively, and full of love.

"Forgiveness Breaks Down Walls. When you choose to forgive you experience true freedom."

I ran across this line during my Bible Connection Time and so many thoughts came to me. I walk you through my discovery of my closed heart, briefly where it stemmed from and questions that will guide you to begin understanding why you have your heart protected, when the walls are most prevalent and how the walls are hurting you to even understanding what will become available and open up for you when you allow your heart to open.

This episode is for the woman who might feel bitterness or pain built up in her heart or feels herself closing off so others cannot enter into her world too deeply.

Being disconnected from our body can create tension, confusion, lack of fulfillment, and low self-worth + value. A lot of us women aren't provided a foundation to actually be able to connect with our body and live through the boldest truth we desire....yet we are taught to be closed off, keep your guards up, be disconnected, don't show weaknesses, AND on top of that... don't be "too much"...whatever that's supposed to mean.

In this episode, I go into three areas that have been heavily affected due to the disconnection between my body and myself.

1) The fear of being seen
2) The fear of using my voice + being bold
3) The fear of connecting with others + myself **more specifically w/ my fiance

It took many battles, many tears, many nights full of tension with my fiance to finally face what my body was trying to call me to. I was so fearful to enter into this space, but when I did, so much richness opened up.

I started implementing three exercises into my daily spiritual routine to further align myself with my inner woman AND create a deeper connection with my body.

1) Talk w/ my body + Ask how I'm feeling
I know this seems silly, but Lordy Gezus has this made a world of difference. Between teaching myself how to focus on the NOW and learn how to process the emotions + feeling whirling in the background, I have been able to live happier (bc no pesky emotions are holding me back behind the scenes) communicate better (bc I'm learning more about myself) release grudges AND hold more compassion for others.

2) Deep Belly Breaths
I speak on these quite a bit....deep belly breaths clear a pathway for clear communication. It's like it's removing the gunk clogging the channel. AND it's really allowed me to loosen my anxious thoughts + feelings. I don't consider myself to have anxiety, but I do go through seasons where my nerves have the ability to take over. What I learned about anxiety is that it's future-oriented. We're too focused on the next 15 mins, the next 2 days, and so forth that we aren't present in our now. By incorporating DBB, I have been able to harmonize my nerves.

3) I Am Open
A lot of us are too closed off to what life actually has to offer us. Our schedules are jam-packed. Our mind is constantly spinning. We're always on the go + always giving NOT allowing ourselves to receive. The Universe wants us to have a beautiful dance with giving + receiving. This exercise will ground you in the moment and remind you what you are allowing yourself to receive. The Universe wants to support you BUT sometimes we are too dang stubborn to allow It.
