Today's episode is a short segment from our session with Educational Neuroscientist, Nathan Wallis. This highlight talks about the importance of understanding the different part of the brain and how when we are feeling unsafe or anxious our 'survival brain' is activated. In this visual is shows how if the survival brain is activated then the 'prefrontal cortex' can not be activated. So Nathan shares that we must first ensure our learners feel safe and calm before engaging in learning or else they can not learn properly.
