She is a dynamic speaker, life and business coach and corporate trainer. She speaks and facilitates with passion and authority. Lusanda is the Founder of Women Of Reverence and the Marketing & Communications Manager at Community Connexions (CCX). 

She loves coaching and mentoring women in finding their purpose in life so that they can walk into their destiny. Lusanda finds it rewarding to share her knowledge with other people and professionals as it enriches her own personal growth. She believes that “we achieve more by forging associations, collaborations and partnerships with one another--leveraging our collective experiences, knowledge and networks”. Ps Lusanda has 20+ years of corporate experience in client relationship management, business development, people and organisational development. She studied Business Management and completed her MAP (Management Advanced Programme) postgraduate at Wits Business School in Johannesburg.

She is wife to Ps Joseph Dhlamini and together they are blessed with four daughters. As a family, they reside in Edenglen, East of Johannesburg in South Africa. Together with her husband, they  Lead  Gateway City Church, in  Alexandra and they both serve on the Global Team of New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI).

Today, she is here to share with us her journey into finding her purpose, the challenges that she had to overcome to build her dynamic ministry for women- Women of Reverence and her consulting company. There are people of faith in this life that God has allowed me to connect with, people who ignite my passion for the things of God and Neziswa N. Kanju is one of them. A graduate of the University of Cape Town, Neziswa N. Kanju obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in drama in 1998. Since 1995 she has been involved in many theatres, corporate theatre and television productions including KwaZidenge; the Day of the Two Suns; Renewed Love; Mindset Learn and Mindset Health. Her recent role was on Generation playing the part of Minister Mdana. She is the executive producer of Renewed Love a marriage and family lifestyle programme. From 2014 she has been writing for Gateway News covering many different topics including entertainment; book and movie reviews. Neziswa is the author of Love Builds a House into a Home book on marriage; family and relationships. 

She is the founder of Bridge Media and Communications, a media company that specialises in publishing; television production; talent management and training. Neziswa and her husband Rest have been married since 2001 and are blessed with three children.

To be able to live a life that is worthy of your calling,  its simply start with obedient to God and also applying His Word. You need to commit yourself to follow the principles set for you in the Word of God and to be diligent, to devote yourself in worship, in prayer and in praising God.

Ephesians 4:1 (NET)says;

I, therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live worthily of the calling with which you have been called. This is necessary so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

The word “worthy” means to live appropriately or to become more godly. Get rid of sin and immorality – including idolatry. Live a life devoted to God, in pursuit of holiness, open for correction and in full co-operation with God.

Read, Ephesians 4:24 (NET) ...put on the new man (i.e. becoming obedient to God and surrendering to His will), who has been created in God’s image – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.

Read, 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.

Inst that amazing that we can transform by having a relationship with God.

Hello everyone, Welcome to another instalment of the Empowerment Sessions with Mpho Thulo. 

Today we are on Session 5 of our podcast from the Called Our Series called, The Gifts and Callings come from God- The Creator.

I need to first tell you this, I was so sceptical because of unbelief and doubt when I started to learn that my gift can operate in the Christian world. And when I say that I mean it with all respect because sometimes we do not know that the gifts that we possess as children of God come from the Lord. Because from my background I was told that my gift came because the ancestors called me. But when I read the scripture and I saw what the word of God was saying, I realise that the gifts they come from God and the Holy Spirit is the one who dispenses them to us as believers and the gifts they are there to help the body of Christ to be whole.

The word of God that helped me to understand my gift and to appreciate my calling in God. Was the word that I have to receive and it reads; "before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophet to the nations".

illThat word gave me rare assurance that God created me with this ability, with this gift and God has placed this calling in my life to follow Him, to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, not any other spirits. God gave us all the abilities that we have, the giftings, the callings but our God will never give you any gift or any ability that will bring destruction to the world. God will give you a gift or an ability to use it for the good...

Myles Munroe, says to know the product, you first need to know the manufacturer...that is to know yourself you first need to know God.

Hello, my friend,

What an awesome time again it is for me to come and just to have this one session with you. My name is Mpho Thulo and I am so glad that you joined me today.

Our sessions today is, TRUE FREEDOM IS FOUND IN CHRIST ALONE.

My biggest breakthrough came when I encountered God and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. When I did that something changed in my life. I started to see things differently especially having been spreading time reading the Word and pursuing God in this new relationship that I wanted with him. My mindset was different and the things that used to torment me, they were all removed- like a cloak of darkness was removed from me because of that one encounter with Jesus Christ.

I want you to know that sometimes we read about freedom-- our world promises us freedom

But true freedom is really found in Jesus Christ. It doesn't come from the government.

Once I  knew the truth I was liberated because the truth sets you free. If you know my story as I’ve explained in my book Called Out, that I was searching for God in the wrong places before I knew this revelation about my calling that the gift that I have it comes from the Lord, not ancestors. I used to do all these things of calling the dead so I decided to change my life, to obey God and to do the things that the scriptures told me to do.

The word TRUTH is the Word of God is not something fictional or something that you cannot encounter. The word truth means to encounter God and to know his word. When you know that -- when you have a relationship with God, when you know his word then you know the TRUTH.

It's misleading to think all roads lead to God, like how it is being said. There is only one

way to God, according to the Bible- that way is Jesus Christ- I’m the way the truth and the life. The dead didn’t lead me to God instead my spirit was entangled with darkness and I could find

my way.

My life was a mess - I was facing divorce, my health was deteriorating, I was losing my mind, and I didn’t have peace. Only Salvation in Christ Jesus brought my breakthrough, to me being here today, doing what I do with you right now, it’s a miracle that I am still alive, I have my sanity, joy, peace in my heart all because of the freedom I found in Jesus Christ.

This life that I now live is because of the greatest grace of God. I've been redeemed,  I’m ransomed, reconciled to God. God can do the same for you too as he has done for me too. This is not about special people, salvation is available for everyone who will receive it. Christ already died for you, He paid the punishment of your sin. He is the way for you to connect with God, to receive a confirmation from God and to receive the blessings!

Hello, everyone, my name is Mpho Thulo, and yet again this is an awesome privilege- the Empowerment Sessions is an amazing platform where we can come together and just learn the principles of the kingdom of God.

Today we are on PART 3- of our CALLED OUT SERIES called, HAVE FAITH IN GOD.

Do you know that although faith is a personal spiritual journey, you can actually mature better when you have a mentor- someone to guide you and be of help? And most importantly to

have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. On our paths to creating the life that is pleasing to God, there are so many obstacles that come in-between that causes us to sometimes get us stuck, such as fears, self-limiting beliefs, traditional or cultural diversities. It takes knowing and understanding the Word of God to build your muscle of faith and rediscover who you are- your God-given purpose, callings and abilities.

Abraham is our greatest example of some who exercised his faith in God and because of that, he was named a friend of God. He believed God.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

But without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for him, that

cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder

of them that diligently seek Him.

The main topic of this session’s straight forward. I used to ask this question, should my faith be any different than the people/ characters in the Bible, or any human being on the face of the earth?

I have shared my testimony with you, my spiritual background included to observe, to engage in the practices and rituals of traditional beliefs like ukuthwasa and also attendance of Christian church services. All these things that I did observe were not pleasing to God, because they were not faith according to the will of God. They were man-made channels. Should my faith be any different just because I'm an African or I live in the continent of Africa?

This question is NO! Our faith in God shouldn’t be limited by the culture we are born into.

I wrote this statement in my book, Called Out, that it is evident, based on the many beliefs and practices throughout the world that human beings’ greatest desire is to somehow know God. The problem arises when we approach Him according to our limited beliefs.

When it comes to approaching God, we must meet Him as He is, not as we imagine Him to be. The only way to do that is not to look at our racial background, cultural beliefs, practices or religious services. We need to approach Him based on what the word says. The best way to know Him is to familiarise yourself with His names.

God has revealed Himself as omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient God. That means - God is matchless in power, unconquerable, and always victorious. He is all-knowing, all-loving and with us all the time. Our God is not a distant, unapproachable God. We don’t need any other man-made channels to get to Him. He has made a way through Jesus Christ (John 14:6) for us to connect with him.

Marilyn Hickey - one of the best Bible Teachers and Christian authors, highlights these truths about God, she said, “You need to have a renewed image of God, rely on Him as your source of might and power. Which means there is a biblical way in how to approach God, not according to your own traditional/ cultural or religious vintage point,

For this way to be clear we need to first renew our minds- learn from the Word how He desires us to meet with Him and how we can attract His presence to rest on us. As matter of fact, nobody can deny the existence of God. Creation itself reveals God’s greatness, His power, His majesty and awesome glory. And by the way, the bible calls anyone who says there is no God a fool.

Psalm 19:1 (NET) says, “...The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays His handiwork.”

So the first search to  Know God should be about familiarizing yourself with His names because His names reveal His character, abilities and how He relates with us.

When we know Him, our identity will be revealed and we will understand who we are in him.
