Landon Adams graciously spoke with me about one of his papers, Apprehending Sacrifice: An Evaluation of William Ward's Understanding and Portrayal of Hindu sacrifice, written to continue to complete his Ph.D. Through this paper, we discuss the life of William Ward and his relationship with the Hindu people. Sacrifice, what is it? How did Ward describe it when interacting with the Hindu people? What is a world view, and how does religion play a part in creating a world view?
