When we see that something is causing suffering, we tend to stop. Removing a stone from our shoe, loosening a belt after a heavy meal or getting up and moving when we have been sat too long. It's so simple but first we have to know where the feeling is coming from. Often we do not realise that our emotional suffering is coming from thought in the moment but when we do, we begin to make different choices about which trains of thought to follow. There really is nothing else to do but live life from this awareness.
