Lessons from Ephesians 5 & 6. The Spirit of God should energize your entire life, including these 5 areas:

1. We should be filled DAILY by the Spirit of God, especially in our day-to-day lives, cause that’s where it is often most difficult. "The presence of the negative, drunkenness, or the absence of the positive, Spirit-fullness, in a believer's life, reflects equal disobedience."

2. How can we, in a modern society, make sense of Paul’s instructions for a wife to submit to her husband? Well, we must look to the next verse, where husbands are called to love their wife “as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” “Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.” 

3. We are called to work as we would for Christ. "Energized by the Spirit of God, if we start working like that on Monday, they'll start believing what we're preaching on Sunday."

4. By being filled with the Holy Spirit, we have authority over evil in the spiritual warfare happening around us. 

5. We must be Spirit-filled to witness and preach in a beneficial way. “Anything I can argue you into, somebody else can talk you out of.”
