The Enlightened Entrepreneur - Free and Low-Cost Tools and Resources for Small Businesses!

I have been using this Chrome extension for years now and found it extremely useful -- It’s such a time saver. 

I use it all the time to send useful links to friends and colleagues and I use it most of all to send links to myself that I want to review later. It is so easy to forget sites that I want to review later, and sometimes after searching through a website, you find the page buried in a website that you want to visit again later and it has a ridiculously long and complicated URL that would take you forever to write down. So with this add-in, I just send the URL to myself and when I review my inbox at a later time, the link is sitting there waiting for me.

Last week I mentioned that I like to audio record webinars and online presentations so that I can listen to them rather than watch them at a more convenient time to me  – like listening to them when I am driving in my car, or at the airport or on a plane instead of wasting my most valuable business time watching webinars.

Although I audio record many of the webinars so I can listen to them later (see episode #108) there are a few instances where I do really need to see the presentation – especially if it is a demonstration of a new software program or something pertaining to web design or graphic layouts.

So for those presentations, I wanted to find a screen recorder that was simple to use and, for the limited number of times I planned to use it, I wanted one that was preferably …free . . .

Research is a vital part of any business. I read business books and listen to webinars and online trainings a lot!

There was a service I signed up for awhile ago and although I like it and its features, it didn’t work with my autoresponder, so I ended up using other systems, but it had one feature that I loved and wished I use  – the ability to text me when someone filled out one of my online forms.

How many times have to tried calling people and couldn’t reach them? And then perhaps they try calling you back and you were out of the office? It’s frustrating playing “phone tag” and it wastes everyone’s time.
