Jeff Brekken grew up on a farm, driving tractors and combines all alone by the age of 9.  He believed he should be earning a wage and approached his dad about it.  When his dad asked what he thought he was worth, Jeff had an answer, $1.00 per hour.  Since then he has learned his value and he helps others realize their own value. 

Having had only three W2 jobs since college, Jeff knows no one will ever pay him what he’s worth, not even himself because he continually raises the bar.

Jeff has three types of goals: realistic, big, and big ass goals.  Jeff is content to never reach the bar because his goals are so high, and when he gets close, he raises it.  Always investing in himself, Jeff has utilized mentors, coaches, and mastermind groups.  Having seen his fair share of success, Jeff hopes to inspire other young entrepreneurs to strive for the same.

After building 109 custom homes in 8 1/2 years, 2008 hit him hard and he had to search for a new profession that is recession-proof. He found insurance and built his first insurance brokerage and has been providing security for his clients ever since. 

Jeff tells us how to sell insurance even if you aren't a salesperson. He now does business in over 40 states.

Mark is speaking with Dr. Mike Hanlon, a chiropractor and father of 4 that’s in the midst of major life changes. Mike has been seeing a chiropractor since the young age of 6 months old.  After he saw success with it, his family used chiropractic services for general wellness and optimal health. Mike knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a chiropractic career.  After spending $100,000+ on education, and 10+ years in the practice, Mike is ready for a major change.

Through some policy changes with a major local insurance company, the patient was being turned against the doctor.  Mike says the joy was gone, and he was ready to close his practice over it.  His wife had two booming gyms, and Mike set up his chiropractic table there to work on people.  Throughout it all, Mike prayed for a better solution.  The answer came in the form of his second passion, real estate.  Mike shares how he went all in and completely changed careers with no regrets.
