In this episode, Tom chats with Lucy Hunte from Health Education England. Lucy has over 20 years of experience in the Education & Training Sector, across the FE sector focusing on Apprenticeships and has since July 2016 worked for the NHS as National Programme Manager for Apprenticeships.

Lucy’s insights on apprenticeships provide a key perspective. From employer engagement to delivery and what are the important growth strategies for the NHS, plus in-depth knowledge of the Levy and implementation in the NHS.

The episode discusses the NHS’ apprenticeship since switching from Frameworks to standards and how individual NHS Trusts have embraced the Learning and Development agenda and what operating the UK’s Largest Apprenticeship Levy is like.
