(Part 1 was mistakenly left out earlier).
Enjoy this audio replay of a sermon message by Pastor Bob Hallman
It's kind of the elephant in the room of evangelical Christianity. We KNOW that this is the calling of the church, we know that making disciples includes everything from pre-evangelism all the way through helping someone come to know Christ through the Gospel presentation, through helping them learn basic things, like how to have a quiet time, how to know what the Bible teaches, and how to even know Matthew 28. For some people, they need simple basic instruction on what things of the Bible mean.

Introduction
Revelation = Apokalypsis = “Revelation, disclosure or unveiling” of Jesus Christ!
The resurrection is the central message of the Gospel and the greatest single truth in Christianity!
Without the resurrection there would be no deliverance from sin, not escape from spiritual death and no promise of a future resurrection.
But since Christ did resurrect from the dead, the disciples spent the rest of their lives proclaiming Christ’s death, burial and resurrection:

Enjoy this classic message on How to Have a Quiet Time!
This is the most basic step to growing in your relationship with Christ. We hear Him speak to us through His Word and we respond back through prayer.
Normally we teach people how to have a Quiet Time individually or in groups. But on this occasion, Pastor Bob taught the congregation.
You can find the Quiet Time booklet on our Epic Life website.

The Epic Life
What God is presenting in this text of scripture is "The Epic Life" - it's about being a part of the great work of God. We tend to fall back into a good, moral, ethical life and fall back into the things of the world.
Nothing brings value but the great commission God has called us to. There is nothing wrong with what we have in the world, but in and of themselves, these things do not bring us satisfaction.
We want to be about loving God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and we want to be about loving other people, unbeliever and believer alike, in the same way that God loves us. The third thing is that we want to be a part of the Great Commission, this great calling: and this great calling is what adds texture to our life: adds significance and gives us an understanding of what's really meaningful.
