WE’RE BACK. Our first official episode is back here, on the main channel! And our guest this week is the incredible and always funny Lourdes Ayon! This episode was recorded a couple weeks ago, before the Mic Drop Comedy shows we start the episode talking about. We did have a great time on the trip though, and a great time recording this episode. We spend a bunch of time talking about actors who start comedy later in life, getting better at stand up, situational depression, showing my TV pilot, The Host, at the Nevada City Film Festival, I give a Hell Gig update, we talk about the Sacramento comedy scene, how difficult it is to travel and do comedy as a nobody, and my aspirations of being in the NBA and why it never happened (probably pretty obvious…) And, we finish up with, you guessed it, another Writing Session! If you like this podcast please subscribe and tell your friends. We are trying to grow this thing!

Angel Castro RETURNS for another great nerdy episode. Angel runs a couple of great shows in the area including a quarterly showcase at Hooby’s Brewing in Winters, CA. He is a regular host at Punch Line and Laughs Unlimited as well.

In this episode we spend about 50% of it talking about Pokemon, especially the recent game, Pokemon Legends: Z-A. We also talk about Mexican culture, comedy, and we open knock-off Pokemon card packs that I (Luke Soin) got while I was in Mexico with my girlfriend! It really is hilarious and entertaining to watch a foreign Pokemon card pack opening. Don’t miss it. And at the end we work on some jokes. Enjoy itttt.

Sorry for the gap in programming but we are back with another wonderful episode of THE EPIC TIKI PODCAST LOL. This episode’s guest is the very talented and cool to hang with RAUL GONZO! Raul is a film director/cinematographer, photographer, and sometimes comedian.

In this episode they talk about Luke’s new film project, The Host, and how tough it is to get a TV pilot made with or without a budget. They also talk about how tough it is to find your way in the film industry, especially when you live in Sacramento. They also talk about movies! Like the wild “gonzo” feel of Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Skeet Ulrich being like Johnny Depp. They also talk about the Scream franchise and much, much more! They also work on one of Luke’s jokes to close it out. Enjoyyyyy.

Oh and go check out Raul’s exhibition at Archival Gallery next year!
