Today I had the pleasure of chatting with Cerys Basher from @diaryofmydragon. 

We chatted about so many things including the newest addition to the Basher household, juggling life with a newborn, community, her best friend and all round Legend -Beth, Ruby, goals for the future and so much more. Cerys is so passionate about showing the realities of her new horsey mum life and showing both the good and the not so good. Its been really amazing watching her thrive in her new normal and she is smashing it !!

In todays episode, I was joined by the wonderful Sara from @mama_goes_eventing and @scottisshdoerupper. 

I always love listening to Sara on her instagram stories, because she really does show the highs and the lows of life with horses. She takes a no bullshit approach and I can only commend her for it, speaking openly about when there is tough days but also celebrating all the wins. love to see it! Sara also has a house account on instagram too, and if you are anything like me ( house obsessed) its one worth a follow, LOVE the inspiration and the style of both Sara and Lucys Scottish abode is top notch! 

Sara spoke about her start with horses, working as a groom in her early career and the changes that have come about since she left the industry and also why she made a return to horses. we hear all about Jonny and the wonderful addition of little Rebecca and so much more. 

Sara is a breath of fresh air, and its been wonderful following the journey with herself and Jonny, and they are only from strength to strength, from hacking solo, to eventing - this pair is as unstoppable force and  cant wait to see what they get up to this summer!

In todays episode both myself and Muireann @lifeaftertheyard were joined by the fabulously talented and humble Ciara Mullen @itsagroomslife. What a woman! From the moment we started chatting with Ciara, its honestly felt like a chat with friends over tea. Nothing better.

The chats ranged from Dublin Horse Show to HOYS, the fabulous Tina Turner, and future goals for her horses for the season ahead. 

Ciara has such an amazing work ethic to keep all her horses going to such a high standard, while working full time, and taking time to start up a new venture too. Ciara openly says she asked for help if she needs it, encouraging whoever may need to, to reach out and mentioned the importance of the HAY campaign for our industry especially this time of year with lacking motivation and crappy weather not helping either. ( bring on the spring time) 

It was so nice to hear about the support system around her and the women she looks up to most in the industry, take a listen for yourself, loved having Ciara on for the chats. And massive well done to our co host who took over when I had to dip off, who else thinks she should be on podcasts? I do! A natural!

In todays episode  I was joined by Jane Brindley from @confidentridingscotland . Jane is a confidence and mindset coach and deals with riders at all levels.   Jane explains how she helps her clients overcome their confidence issues with a range of techniques, which was really interesting to hear all of the different approaches she covers.  

We also spoke about her change in career from NHS midwife to the journey of becoming a newly self employed coach and the emotions that come along with it , to then only earlier this month, sell out a confidence workshop she is hosting  in  just 24 hours. Wow! 

Jane also gave some great advice for people looking to join her area of expertise, and gave some great insight into changes she would like to see in the industry.
