Unanet, a project-based ERP and CRM solutions provider for government contractors and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, announced it has closed a new round of strategic financing from Onex Corporation.

Workday announced results for the fiscal 2023 third quarter, which ended October 31, 2022. Salesforce released results for its third quarter fiscal 2023, ending October 31, 2022. Intuit Inc., the global financial technology platform that makes TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, announced financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2023, which ended October 31, 2022. UKG announced its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2022 results, ending September 30, 2022. Aptean announced its acquisition of Mistral Group, a French provider of enterprise resource planning solutions designed for dealers and distributors of agricultural and construction equipment. AWS debuted AWS Supply Chain, a new application that helps businesses increase supply chain visibility to make faster, more informed decisions that mitigate risks, save costs, and improve customer experiences.

We saw major announcements from Epicor and Qlik. Epicor released a service CRM for automotive businesses. Qlik debuted its suite of SAP Accelerators now available on Qlik Cloud Data Integration, its Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (eiPaaS).

Sage announced its full-year 2022 financial results, which ended September 30, 2022. Organic recurring revenue growth was 9%, underpinned by Sage Business Cloud’s growth of 24%. The organic operating margin also increased to 19.9%, with an underlying basic EPS growth of 8%. Microsoft and Lockheed Martin announced the expansion of their strategic relationship to help power the next generation of technology for the Department of Defense (DOD). This agreement will span across four critical areas for the DOD, including classified cloud innovations, artificial intelligence/machine learning, modeling, & simulation capabilities, 5G. MIL programs, and digital transformation. At the SAP TechEd conference, SAP announced the launch of SAP Build, a low-code solution that puts SAP’s enterprise technology in the hands of business users, giving them direct, secure access to the end-to-end processes, data, and context they need to make smarter decisions and drive innovation quickly. Deltek unveiled its latest product innovations, specifically Deltek Unionpoint, at Deltek ProjectCon. Deltek Unionpoint is an iPaaS solution based on Workato that is designed to make it easier for project-based businesses to automate processes for their projects. iPaaS solutions are great for businesses that rapidly expand and change because of the easy integration capabilities and access to a number of applications also built on the platform. Salesforce followed the tech trend with the introduction of a new Analytics Performance Bundle that will help companies consolidate their analytics tools to achieve success with an easy-to-use, self-service platform that saves costs and gives every employee the tools needed to gain real-time insights and make decisions quickly. Qlik recently enabled Qlik Cloud with enhanced encryption to securely host personal health information (PHI) subject to U.S. HIPPA requirements while completing its SOC Type 2 + HITRUST Attestation.

Salesforce followed the functionality trend with the announcement of new Patient 360 for Health innovations that provide cost-saving automation, personalized intelligence, and real-time data for healthcare and life sciences organizations to deliver comprehensive patient success and equitable care with greater efficiency. These new capabilities will build on existing Patient 360 solutions. QAD announced a significant new release of QAD Digital Supply Chain Planning (DSCP) designed to support and help its customers navigate through global supply chain interruptions with innovative supply chain planning capabilities. UKG announced the debut of FleX by UKG, a modern technology platform purpose-built to support great workplaces. Celonis unveiled its process MRI and extended its execution management to all business users with Celonis Process Sphere and Celonis Business Miner.

NetSuite announced that it was recognized by Inc. Business Media in the inaugural Power Partner awards which honor B2B organizations that support startups across all business functions and empower growth. UKG announced its acquisition of Quorbit, the U.K.-based startup specializing in long-term workforce planning solutions for people in frontline and hourly roles. This acquisition will help organizations achieve new levels of operational excellence by bringing together strategic planning with employee development, and further strengthening UKG’s market leadership for solutions designed in service of people. Oracle announced Oracle Public Safety Services, a new technology platform for law enforcement and first responders. The new platform provides a unified hardware and software suite that is designed to remove data silos, eliminate manual busy work, and empower first responders with real-time information and situational awareness to help them make more objective decisions when every second counts. This suite also includes a dispatch command center, law enforcement records, and jail management software, as well as body-worn devices and real-time video communication tools.  Blackbaud released its financial results for its third quarter, ending September 30, 2022. GAAP total revenue was $261.3 million, up 13%, with $249.4 million in GAAP recurring revenue, up 14.1%.

SAP announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2022. Highlights from SAP included the increase of Cloud revenue by 38% to approximately 3.3 billion euros, SAP S/4HANA's current cloud backlog up by 108%, and IFRS cloud gross profit up by 44%. IFS continues its 2022 momentum with strong financial results for Q3 year-to-date ending September 30, 2022. IFS’s annual recurring revenue increased by 38% year-over-year, with Cloud revenue growing at 104% versus 2021 Q3 year-to-date. Finally, Planful announced its accelerating growth in the 3rd quarter of 2022. This growth was characterized by a 70% year-over-year increase in customer expansion bookings and a record number of new customers. Aptean announced its acquisition of Merlin Business Software Ltd., a provider of enterprise business solutions tailored to wholesalers and distributors, including those serving the industrial supply, building supply, and food and beverage industries. The acquisition will assist Aptean in supporting these industries in the United Kingdom. Unit4 announced a strategic relationship with BDO USA LLP to help nonprofit, professional services, higher education, and State and local government sectors increase agility and efficiency. This relationship will combine Unit4’s purpose-built technology solutions and BDO’s deep industry experience and solution capabilities around organizational strategy, enterprise transformation, and technology enablement.
