  • Erratic Podcast 103 | Joseph McGeechan
Next up in the series we welcome aboard, JOSEPH MCGEECHAN. Originally from the UK and now based in Berlin, he was one-half of the infamous duo BCR Boys circa 2011. Since then, he’s been focusing on his solo projects both under his own name and the iFormat moniker –the latter taking a rawer, more aggressive and industrial version of the sounds and influences he stands for. For us, he was gracious enough to put together an astounding 2-hour studio mix filled with truly wicked, mental techno. Among the many layers and dozens of tracks, you’ll be able to listen to some of Joseph’s unreleased material, as well as his next release on The Cast Project, a new imprint from Berlin. Without further adieu, for the next 2 full hours, this is Joseph McGeechan live in the mix for The Erratic Podcast. Please listen and enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 102 | Giorgio Gigli
Shifting gears from our last episode, the next installment comes straight from Rome and is by none other than one of the leading techno titans Italy has to offer, GIORGIO GIGLI. We have been wanting to feature this talent for a while now and he obliged by providing a extremely deep and penetrating studio mix. His latest EP called Erosion, a collaboration with Ness for Planet Rhythm, just came out a few weeks ago and includes three amazing takes. As you will hear in the next hour, it was about time we had this veteran featured on The Erratic Podcast, showcasing his dark, sonic prowess. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

  • Erratic Podcast 101 | Ontal
Following up the momentous, quadrennial episode from the Erratic founders, we welcome next in the series a duo whose sound and style have no rival, ONTAL. Hailing from Serbia and composed of Boris Noiz and Darko Kolar, we are huge fans of all their works and are extremely thrilled to have them showcased in The Erratic Podcast. Their mixes come few and apart; are always layered and multi-faceted; and with each one of them they simply out-do themselves by raising the bar to unprecedented levels. Just last month, they released their debut album ‘The Topics’ (a collaboration with British duo, Dronelock), that was released on Shadow Story, the label run by the latter pair. In Ontal's mix for us, you get to sample two of the twelve cuts that make the LP, as well as 26 other tracks, loops, and bits and pieces of astounding, beautiful techno – all surgically mixed into 1 hour of abominable sound, remarkable journey. Undoubtedly, this is for the headiest of heads, the bravest of souls, the strongest of hearts. Ladies and gentleman, this is Ontal live in the mix. Enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 100 | Dos Lokos
After 4 years of running and curating The Erratic Podcast, we have reached milestone episode 100 and, without further adieu, wanted to send a sincere Thank You to every single one of you for the continued support and keeping us one hundred episodes strong. To commemorate the occasion, we decided to feature none other than the Erratic founders themselves, DOS LOKOS, with one of their strongest pieces yet. Their contribution – a combination of shrewd, cerebral and evoking techno – showcases a deeper take and sensibility, this time cursing and traversing the unprecedented. As usual, the journey is composed of and features artists and labels they genuinely admire and support (both veterans and newcomers, established and becoming), and it presents to you a unique palette of sounds that do the quadrennial episode justice; as well as it showcases Nico and Jason’s passion towards the genre. Without further adieu, ladies and gentleman, here are the Erratic founders live in the mix for Episode 100. Please listen, share, comment and enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 98 | Wunderblock
For our next episode we have quite a special treat for you – a fantastic and energetic 2-hour mix from the duo behind WUNDERBLOCK, recorded live at Tresor a few weeks ago. Based out of Moscow, Russia, Michael and Vladimir are the heads that teamed up couple of years ago to create the Wunderblock label, specializing on the deeper, dubbier textures of techno. With dozen releases to date, their next EP is from Mas Teeveh with remixes by Brendon Moeller and Takaaki Itoh and might just be their biggest release yet. We are very excited to feature these guys and give them the spotlight in this episode: The next 2 hours deliver an intense rollercoaster ride that instantly transports you to that dark, legendary basement packed with sweaty bodies and stomping bass. This is Wunderblock live from Tresor, folks. Listen up and enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 97 | Invite
Going back to the Netherlands for our next episode, we are very excited to welcome into The Erratic Podcast one man who has made quite a name for himself over the last few years, INVITE. Aside from being a fantastic dj with many years of experience, in 2011 he started his own podcast series called "Invite's Choice" – and since then he hasn't looked back. With over 250 episodes to date, it has become one of the most famous and leading purveyors of weekly techno out there. Recently, Tim also released his debut EP "Active Trigger" on Knotweed (Philippe Petit's label based out of France), which received massive, heart-felt support. This current year 2015 is also looking very promising for him: he is launching his own imprint, Invite's Choice, with the first release slated for the summer; and the first Invite's Choice night is taking place the first week of May at Closure in Amsterdam. For the occasion, he delivered over 90 minutes of exquisite techno, showcasing his excellent mixing skills and sheer quality all-around. As always, sit back and let the music do the rest. Ladies and gents, this is Invite in the mix. Enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 96 | Radial
Next up in the series, we go to the Netherlands to feature one of the veterans of the harder, Dutch techno scene, RADIAL. He cofounded Audio Assault (alongside Bas Mooy) and is now one of the mainstays of the booming Mord responsible for two releases to date: the label's first in 2013 and another earlier this year. Jeroen has been keeping busy in the studio - releasing his debut album "Crux" on his brand new label, Radial Records, and picking up producing with his long-time studio partner, Anton Pieete, under the Museum pseudonym. In the next hour, Jeroen's showcases his powerful sound and versatile style providing a simply stomping studio session through a varied and cohesive techno story. This one hits hard on many levels. This is Radial, exclusive for the Erratic Podcast. Enjoy!

  • Erratic Podcast 95 | Takaaki Itoh
For Erratic Podcast 95 we are thrilled to present to you an outstanding contribution by one of Japan's most senior and leading techno figures, TAKAAKI ITOH. He's been honing his sound and style for close to two decades and running his own label, Owls, for the better part of this time. In 2012 he came out with an exceptional EP, Slicer/Spacer, taking the techno community by storm, followed with equally robust works across Planet Rhythm, Modularz, and Grey Report. Known for his fast, hard, and layered style of mixing, his contribution for us is a much deeper, highly cerebral, journey through the darker and introspective realms of his modern sound. Needles to say, we absolutely love it. And we are confident you will too. Here it goes folks, for the next hour this is Takaaki in mix. Sit back and enjoy!
