The salad episode! A mix of different topics! We apologize for the low audio quality this episode... we had some technical difficulties. We talk about the importance of being young, dumb, and having fun. We also discuss why New York makes hard work worth it, the fear of being a copy of another artist, how to avoid comparing ourselves to others, and finally the pros and cons of collaboration!
The college episode! For this episode, we brought on our friend August Reed... a talented film photographer (@99flic on Instagram) to talk about the uncertainties of financial responsibility and timeless debate on today's value that creative college classes give.
The mental health episode! This got deeper than it was supposed to but Nouf and Ricardo talk about the mental and physical cost of unhealthy working habits. They also discuss experiences with creative burnout, anxiety, and pressure to work as hard as possible.
The high school episode! Nouf and Ricardo talk about how high school sometimes acted as a "jail" for creatives and made it hard to focus on one's own creative skills and development. They also discuss the frustrations and insecurity with showing one's work and portfolio and also how to receive and give constructive criticism.
