On this week's episode of the #EShow we feature the Maine Eclipse, one of the newest franchises in the league. Following the shutdowns that took place during the 2020-21 campaign, Eric Michaud is referring to this upcoming season as 'Expansion Year 2.0' for his organization. Serving as both the EHLP Head Coach, as well as the General Manager for the entire program, Michaud is embracing the pressure that comes with getting off on the right foot this fall. Michaud and the rest of the staff with the Eclipse feel fortunate to have a brief taste of experience from this past year, and are eager to get the new season started.

On this week's episode of the #EShow we welcome Jake Adkins and Andy Walker onto the podcast. Adkins and Walker are a pair of forwards heading into their junior year at UMass Boston, but are also known as the 'Men in Blades'. Last summer, Adkins and Walker rollerbladed from Massachusetts to Michigan in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Fast forward a year later, and it's time for version #2 of the Men in Blades. Coming up on Saturday, August 21st, Adkins and Walker will be hosting a 10k event at Braintree High School, as they continue in their efforts to raise money for ACS.

On this week's episode of the #EShow we feature another one of the youngest franchises in the league in the Seacoast Spartans. Brett Tryder is busy gearing up (1:10) for his 3rd season at the helm in Exeter, NH. The veteran Head Coach feels good about the way his program has developed over the first two years, and continues to have his main goal focused on reaching the EHL Frozen Finals. The #ECrew finishes things off (22:23) with an all-time lineup for the Spartans that features a strong core of players who've advanced onto the University of Southern Maine.

On this week's episode of the #EShow we feature one of the youngest franchises in the league, the Railers Junior Hockey Club. Heading into season #3, Sean Bertoni and the Railers are feeling confident with the hopes of having a 'normal' year on the horizon (1:19). With their inaugural campaign and a pandemic season behind them, the Railers have laid a great foundation out in Worcester. The EHL team more than doubled their win total from year #1 to year #2, and the EHLP team reached the Championship Game this past March. To wrap-up the episode (21:53), the #ECrew puts together an all-time lineup that includes a strong core of players eligible to return.

On this week's episode of the #EShow we cross off another original 6 franchise in the Valley Jr. Warriors. Ryan McGrath is busy preparing for his 3rd season at the helm of the program (1:11), having helped over 20 players advance onto college hockey in the first two years. With a great support staff of coaches, McGrath feels strongly about the overall direction of the organization. We wrap up the episode with the formation of the latest all-time lineup (30:14), featuring a handful of players from the 2016-17 Warriors' division title team.

On this week's episode of the #EShow, we chat with Terry Watt, the Head Coach and General Manager of the Protec Jr. Ducks (1:15). July of 2021 feels a little bit different from July of 2020 for Watt, as he and the Ducks prepare for their 2nd season in the EHL. The inaugural campaign went as well as the program could have wanted, as the league managed its way through the pandemic hockey season. After finishing in 3rd place in the south and placing all of their age-out players into NCAA hockey, Watt's got his sights set on taking a step further this year, and the end goal is to make it to Providence.

On this week's episode of the #EShow we feature a program that's placed 72 players into college, dating back to their inception into the league in 2017. Coming over from Hartford, Chris Cerrella helped establish an instant contender when he arrived in New Hampshire (1:27). Along with the impressive commitment totals that the Avalanche have posted, they've also appeared in all 3 Championship Games that the league has hosted at the EHL Frozen Finals. After winning it all in 2018 and 2019, Cerrella and the Avalanche lost to the Rangers in overtime this past March, thus, the revenge tour has begun for this upcoming year. With tons of talented players that have come through the program, the #ECrew wraps up the episode by taking their best crack at assembling the latest all-time lineup (26:45).

On this week's episode of the #EShow we feature a program that reached the 2021 Frozen Finals with both their EHL and EHLP teams. The Vermont Lumberjacks battled through anything and everything this past season, including relocating to Waterville Valley, NH for the 2nd half of the year. Jim Mosso is forever proud of what his organization accomplished (1:11), and getting a taste of the finals is hopefully just the beginning of what's to come in the future. Over the course of the first 8 seasons of the EHL, the Express lead the league with 124 NCAA Commitments to date. Included in that total are 27 commitments combined between the past two seasons.
