I had the opportunity to speak with Vivian, a fashion stylist and sales representative, who shared her journey of hustling so far. Vivian originally hails from Edo State and has travelled across seven states in Nigeria to develop herself while pursuing her dreams. During our conversation, Vivian shared her experiences of sexual assault, maltreatment, and even sleeping under a bridge in Lagos. She also discussed how she encountered individuals who helped guide her along the way and how she received training to become a fashion stylist. Vivian's past has instilled in her a deep concern for the welfare of the "girl child," but she remains grateful for the valuable life lessons she's learned. Her story is a powerful and thought-provoking one, and I hope it inspires you as well.
