But today's guest very clearly defies that stereotype, being one of the biggest dudes, but also by far one of the most intelligent. He's lead a life of forging his own path and going against the grain. Couldn't have asked for a better guest to come on to speak with the young men of Apogee. 

NSIMA INYANG

Nsima is a drug-free Professional Bodybuilder, elite-level Powerlifter, and Martial Artist. As a Bodybuilder, he competed in Cellucor Sponsored 2015 WNBF Worlds where he placed 5th in the World amongst Heavyweight Bodybuilders.  Along with that win, Nsima also won the title of Mr. California. He currently holds a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has placed Second in the IBJJF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship as a Blue Belt.

With 15+ years of training experience and a cumulative 10 years of personal training and online coaching under his belt, Nsima has acquired essential practical application necessary to complement his detailed approach to training and nutrition. NICK BARE

Nick Bare founded Bare Performance Nutrition in 2012 out of his small college apartment in Western Pennsylvania at the Indiana University of PA. During this time, Nick was studying nutrition and on the path of joining the military upon graduation. ZACH BITTER

Zach Bitter is an American ultramarathon runner. He held world records for the 100-mile run (track) and the 12-hour run (track). Bitter claimed both records with his performance during the Six Days in the Dome event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on August 24, 2019. His 100-mile time of 11 hours, 19 minutes and 13 seconds, bested Oleg Kharitonov’s 2002 world record by almost 11 minutes, and was more than 20 minutes faster than his own American mark of 11:40:55. After claiming the 100-mile record, Bitter continued running for another 40 minutes and upped his own 12-hour distance world record to 104.8 miles, an improvement of more than three miles over the previous mark.

NICK KOUMALATSOS

Nick was born in Hollywood Florida. Nick was forced into juvenile detention at the age of twelve. He joined the Marine Corps at 19 and spent five and a half months in basic training but graduated company honor grad. Nick went on to become a 12 year Special Operations Marine Corps veteran with Marine Reconnaissance and Marine Special Operations Command.

AMY MINTER

What first began as her brother's solution to her bullying problem turned into a dream that Amy never believed was something that she could achieve. Battling depression, trauma, and other health issues had left her feeling beat down and boxing helped her fill a void in her life. 

The game changed for Amy after she found Jose Morales' gym in Roseville, CA. 

There, she received support in a way that she never had before and began a journey of personal development. Through training, she was able to learn and understand herself better than ever and found a purpose. Then in 2021, Amy competed in the women's national boxing tournament where she fought the top 3 girls and beat all of them, taking home the national title.
