Our guest today on the podcast we have Stu Cliburn. A Mississippi native that has been a part of America’s favorite past time for over 50 years. Stu shares his journey playing baseball in the south with his twin brother Stan Cliburn. He also shares his amazing stories of his time playing college baseball at Delta State University. Drafted in 1977 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates, he shares his journey through the minor league system and how the his perspective of how baseball has changed throughout his playing career then into coaching at all levels until he made to the MLB with the California Angels in 1984. Stu talks about his first MLB appearance and how his teammates told him to take his time to get settled in with his first time being on an MLB mound and this happening immediately after Reggie Jackson’s 500th career homerun. Fresh off yet another championship, Stu took his pitching expertise to Taiwan and became the pitching coach for the Wei Chuan Dragons. He shares with us his experience there during this global pandemic and how the league was able to have a season and concluding on another ring to go on Stu’s hand. Hope you enjoy! Happy New Year everyone, this episode E and T are hitting the road from Utica, NY back down to Atlanta. The guys reflect back on there 2020 with the biggest thing to top it off with Tyler getting Covid-19. Don’t worry T recovered fully from this terrible virus and his family is fine and healthy. Nick shares his stories on battling against all odds of being a smaller athlete but that never stopped his motivation to succeed. He also shares his road to how he got his chance to play college hockey and also transferring to Kings College where he experienced its first year as a hockey program. After college playing in the Federal Prospects Hockey League and during the summers he trains at Next Level Rochester.
