Our next guest on The E&T Podcast, we got to sit down via zoom with Joey Anderson. A native of Roseville, Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes. Joey shares with us his upbringing and how it was growing up in the state of hockey. From playing Minnesota high school then getting the call to get the chance of playing for the United States Hockey Development Program. He shares with us his time playing with the US Program, playing u16, u18, and playing in the World Juniors in Montreal for the u20 USA team and winning the goal medal in the weirdest fashion. He is also a former University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldog where he played for two season capturing a national championship before turning pro. During his first year pro, he was given the chance to play in the NHL for the New Jersey Devils. What an experience Joey has gone through so far, he ends off with his new journey of playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
