  • Ethical Spirituality with Alex Reegan

Alex Reegan is the author of What Needs To Be Said, as well as an interfaith minister, speaker, and transformative spiritual coach who uses his intuitive wisdom to help guide people towards their own inner knowing. Born into an evangelical Christian family that prevented his true identity as a trans man from emerging, he spent years in depression, anxiety, and addiction trying to break free of the oppressive beliefs that bound him. His journey at last led him to sobriety, shamanism and then seminary, which helped him reclaim his faith and trust in the Divine.

I’m proud to call Alex a good friend of mine, as someone who sees me, understands me and aligns with me despite the distance between us - I hope you enjoy this incredible human (please excuse my croaky voice in this one).

  • Ethical Acceptance with Jon Katz

In late 2020, Jon Katz went through a horrendous breakup. This breakup, compounded with the weight of an unstable childhood, decades of poor decision-making, poor relationship choices and poor habits, left him obese, anxious, depressed and suicidal at the age of 34.

That was two years ago. Since then, he has have turned his life around in every conceivable way and now coaches others on how to step back from the path of negativity, poor health, hopelessness, worthlessness, fear and suicide.

Since getting healthy he has established a citywide food rescue program in New York City that currently feeds *thousands* of families a week with edible but unsalable food donations that would otherwise be thrown out.

  • Ethical Mindset with Adam Lucero

In 2016, Adam Lucero was stabbed in the throat, chest and arm while watching a movie in a movie theatre. He woke up 7 days later from an induced coma and could no longer walk, talk or function as he used to. At that point, he only had 2 choices... to give up and quit on his life or fight for his potential. He chose that second path. Now, he empowers others to become the most powerful versions of themselves. Adam is an inspiration who reminds us that we only get one chance at life, be true to yourself and make the most of every moment.

  • Ethical Civil Rights with Parrish Collins

Parrish Collins is a civil rights attorney based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After taking what he envisioned being a few prison medical neglect cases, he realised he had opened Pandora's box to a shocking volume of medical atrocities in New Mexico jails and prisons. Parrish discovered a handful of massive, sometimes billion-dollar corporations revolving in and out of New Mexico prisons and jails with no oversight by the State or the counties that contract with them. The result has been deaths that could have been avoided, inmates and guards receiving horrific treatment…a disaster waiting to happen. Stories like this need to come out of the dark and into the light so that lives and systems are changed for good, so join me in sharing Parrish’s work to be part of that change.

  • Ethical Surrender with Susan Michel

At the age of 20, Susan Michel attempted to end her life twice by ingesting 6 bottles of sleeping pills in an attempt to numb a pain she couldn’t face.

It wasn’t until she developed a spiritual practice and found A Course in Miracles and faced her pain, was she able to begin to heal.

Susan is now a Suicide prevention advocate and has released her book - Surrender to Joy: From Suicide to Serenity. She is now on a mission to help others turn their darkest night into their brightest day.

After speaking with several suicide survivors recently, I’m finding that love plays a big part in their will to live and having something to live for and I think this is a reminder for us all.

  • Ethical Sobriety with Dallas Goodlet

Dallas Goodlet was adopted at the age of 5, thinking he knew who his biological parents were - to only find at the age of 19 that wasn’t the truth. From then, he struggled with shame, abandonment, anger and identity which drove him to a life of alcohol and drug abuse and attempted suicide. It wasn’t until he experienced psilocybin that his life changed for the better. At the age of 30, his love for his daughter became his driving force for sobriety and to live. At 35, he has taken up walking and finds peace and purpose in each step as he now coaches others to a better way of life.

I feel fortunate to have met Dallas, given all he has been through, he is a shining light and inspiration for others and a truly beautiful person inside and out.
