There are many facets to the core concepts of the holidays, but it seems that we often get stuck on presents. Of course, there are different kinds of gifts, such as home-made or extremely heart-felt ones, but many of us buy presents out of obligation. We would argue this is part of what makes this time of year so stressful. Today T and Gen would like to explore the concept of gift giving and how it ties to the capitalist nature of society.
