  • EP 11 Dan The Cop

Up front apology. Due to some technical difficulties, this episodes sound quality certainly isn't up to our standards and we are working to ensure we do better next time.

This episode we have Dan The Cop on. He is a 15-year law enforcement veteran currently serving as a Domestic Violence Detective. Outside of work, he is passionate about the outdoors, spending time hiking, rock climbing, photography, and pursuing his goal of becoming a mountaineer. He's climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and is always looking for the next challenge that pushes him to grow. He is also passionate about mental health in first responders because of the personal losses he has experienced.

We dive into a lot on our first episode with someone in law enforcement. Check it out!

  • EP 10 - Jake Maggart

Father, Husband, Firefighter, Marine, Afghan Vet.... Jake Maggart joins us in the Tinderbox Cigar Lounge to talk about his experiences, particularly with 3-5 in Sangin Valley, Afghanistan which saw some of the most intense fighting of the entire war. Brian Shearer also returns as another Sangin Valley vet to swap stories, along with Matt Emrich for the occasional comedic relief. We all ended this episode teary eyed, and I think it will hit any listener as deep as it did us. We ultimately had to cut it short, and I am sure we will have Jake back for more in the future.

This episode is dedicated to Sergeant Ian Tawney. The world is lesser without you brother

  • EP 9 - Damian Schwab - Flight Paramedic of the Army, Whiskey, Hoist Stuff, and the Old Guard

This week we have Damian Schwab on. We will definitely have to have follow on episodes with this guy as there was just too much to talk about. The Flight Paramedic of the Army at one point, Damian wrote the book on several things including the hoist program. He now is the head of the Flight Paramedic course in Ft. Novosel along with the Joint Enroute Care Course for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Damian also served in the "Old Guard" in Washington D.C. at the beginning of his career. Not to mention the guy has a very impressive Whiskey Room at his house in Enterprise, AL. We didn't even have time to dive into that subject... but more to come...... Enjoy!

  • EP 8 - Hosts Only - Matt's Rules on Hiker Stench, Planning a Trip to Africa, Dressing Professionally Does Matter, And Other Random Rants

Derek forgot the SD card when he left for an Army school in Texas, so this episode is way late guys. Recorded in January before leaving, this is a hosts only episode where we just get together in Matt's kitchen and talk shop about a very wide range of things. From dressing professionally as a public servant, to blood product admin and Paramedic pay, to why we don't like entitled people bars. This episode truly was all over the place.

Tonight Wade from Old Republic Armaments and Rod from Nox Box Photography join us to talk about guns, guitars, photography, and the struggles of business ownership.
