Thanks for checking out the 250th episode of the ETX Rocks Show! Today we have two incredible guests, each with their own outstanding career achievements, but to interview them separately would do their stories injustice.
Our first guest has played on stages across the US as well as Europe, Asia, Africa and more, even taking the time to entertain deployed military personnel. In addition, he has landed acting and stunt roles in films, including a couple with Kenny Rogers and Jeff Bridges. Folks , I'm pleased to introduce you to David Allen! This man also wears many other hats, such as concert producer, bounty hunter, and manager for Leslie Satcher and the Electric Honey Badgers.
Speaking of Leslie Satcher, I couldn't possibly say enough in the time I have today. She has written numerous hits such as “Troubadour” for George Strait and “When God fearing women get the blues “ for Martina McBride, as well as songs and co-writes for artists such as Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Cheryl Crow, Bonnie Rait and Ariana Grande. As well as a distinguished writer, Leslie Satcher has a voice that pulls at your heartstrings and is a very successful performer in her own right. Between songwriting workshops, sold-out live performances at places such as Joe Pub in New York and the Bluebird Cafe and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and numerous charity events, Leslie Satcher’s accomplishments are only continuing to grow. It is such an honor to introduce Leslie Satcher!

Thanks for checking out the 249th episode of the ETX Rocks Show! From early childhood, Jade Marie Patek was fascinated with music, a major reason being the influence of her grandfather Joe Patek, whose polka band sold a million albums. This Texas Regional Radio Music Award nominee for 2017 Female Vocalist of the Year has developed a style of music that's part Americana, part soul, and all her own. Her most recent single, “Drive,” earned a nomination for Texas Music Picker’s Song of the Year. From Round Rock, Texas, Jade Marie Patek!

Jade Marie Patek comes from a rich musical lineage as the granddaughter of polka legend, Joe Patek, who delighted crowds at dancehalls for decades with his Orchestra. Using her polka roots as inspiration, Jade began writing her own music and performing it live a few years back. Her original music is purely Texan and definitely original. The songs are fueled by life experiences, life lessons and a whole lot of heart and soul.

Thanks for checking out the 247th episode of the ETX Rocks Show. Today we are in Tyler, Texas to talk to a very special guest. Known across the nation and beyond for digging his heels in and keeping his own original sound in the sellout age of country music, Jonathan Terrell brings an eclectic feel to rootsy country, with no skinny jeans in sight! With his third full-length album in the works, Jonathan Terrell is destined to change the landscape of modern country music with a minimalist attitude.

While on a run of solo shows in England this past summer with a couple of days off in Nottingham, Jonathan and Tony were introduced by a mutual friend which led to an invite and opportunity to spend some time in studio together. Sitting around talking tunes, old guitars and favorite bands they found that they both loved Mazzy Star, particularly the breakout song from 1994, Fade Into You. They quickly decided to start tracking it out with a couple session players and worked in a short amount of time to lay down vocals and Tony’s beautiful slide parts, the remainder of the song was completed at Cacophony Recorders Studio with Jonathan’s band.
