The Eurospeak Podcast S1 EP3 - Populism
On this episode, BJ goes political, and explores the nature and dynamics of populist politics, historically, and in our time. It begins with a recounting of the life of Tiberius Gracchus, whose populist policies contributed to his rise to the position of Tribune in the Ancient Roman Republic, and whose downfall resulted from a tragic miscommunication. The episode then shifts to an examination of populism at present, and features the perspectives of experts and academics sharing their insights on the topic.
