Kat is the author of “Why hypnobirthing matters” by Pinter and Martin, her clear, measured written exploration of the subject translates well into her popular classes, held in central London. Shockingly, the majority of babies born in the UK and around the world are denied this vital third of their blood volume circulating through their placentas at the time of birth. Even more shocking is the unregulated stem cell industry (non-statutory) moving aggressively into hospital units to persuade parents to donate their baby’s blood!

Sarah explains her journey to achieve her plan of birthing her baby vaginaly after a previous cesarean section (VBAC).

In this episode we will be talking to author, journalist and human rights campaigner Rebecca Schiller. Rebecca is the co-founder of the human rights charity Birthrights, she is a strong advocate for women and works tirelessly to highlight and improve healthcare for women especially in the field of reproduction, maternity and motherhood. We will explore in more detail where all this self regulation originates from, if its of any personal benefit and how we can continue the healthy questioning of these artificial boundaries.
