The Folly have made it to the Feywild...and it goes about as well as you would expect. A tree attacks them upon entry, they upset a librarian, and disrupt the eco-system of a hive of fey bees. The Folly thought they would get some rest after the fight with the bone giant and bone minotaur, but Belladonna promised a series of "rehearsals" and she is delivering. Belladonna Rixa, the necromancer that has hung over this story since the very beginning, has turned her attention toward The Folly, setting up what she has colorfully called "rehearsals" for them. This one nearly cost them Sylenna, but not quite. It gives them a sense of urgency to get her to the Feywild, but that is seemingly thwarted by Sithris' apparent meandering about as he attempts to lead them to the gateway from this plane to that one.

An old friend is nearly killed when he sneaks into the place where The Folly are meeting with Hadressa. After that near-fatal encounter, a huge identity bomb is dropped as we find out just who Sylenna is and at least a little as to why she's important. With the group deciding to set off to find the entrance to the Feywild with the direction of the constantly aloof Sithris, they decide to take the night to get provisions, wrap up a few loose ends, and let Loppe say her goodbyes to her long-lost friend Vander. When the morning comes it's time to set off, but they aren't long into their trip before Belladonna issues an invitation of sorts, one they must decide if they are going to accept.

Now back in Eldowyn, and having finished debriefing with Hadressa, the Folly set off to take care of a couple of things while in town. Stoic and Easy set off to the Temple of Chaldrin to speak with High Priest Octo, who is shrouded in controversy as those who are in competition with him for Archpriest are being killed. Meanwhile, Valan, Bear, and Loppe go to visit Lady Enthress to inform her of all they discovered in Lessa. Asura decides to hang back to wait for Sylenna as the time has come for her to head off to the Feywild. As is the case with the group, nothing goes smoothly.

After an encounter with a dwarf and his stone gargoyles the group makes their way back to Eldowyn only to be summoned by the mysterious Hadressa. That's not the only surprise that's in store for them as The Folly are greeted by a friend they haven't seen in quite some time. The moment isn't all smiles, though, as they have to question the corpse of Vander...and deal with the repercussions of his death.
