The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Marine Corps Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation
105 Years of Scout Sniper History is being uncovered by the Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation !
Today I have Tim Parkhurst on the phone, President of the Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation, and I have to say, this interview was super fun and beyond interesting. The Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation is creating a Memorial to the fallen Scout Snipers from World War I to Present Day. Unfortunately, this Awesome Sculpture will cost $3 Million Dollars so we need to raise a lot of money.
If you head over the Foundation Website which is linked all over this post, you can see the Sculpture Concept, as well as the thinks to help raise money.
Scout Sniper History !
The Heritage Foundation is also very heavily researching our Scout Sniper History. Very little is known about USMC Scout Sniper prior to Vietnam. However we have a robust and organized history going back to World War I, who knew.
Please Help Us Raise $3 Million Dollars for this Sculpture and Memorial, there is an M40 Raffle taking place right now. This one of kind rifle is assembled from parts found that are Vietnam Vintage.

We have multiple ways to support this project, so find the one that suits you can lets get this built !

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Get out and Vote!
The day before one of the most important elections in our nations history. Get out and vote if you have not done so already, it's super important. I want to make sure I don't overlook this request, vote.
But in this podcast I am also live on HideTV.
I wanted to practice simulcasting the Podcast with the Hide TV channels.
But I follow up with some more Major Land discussion. I want to talk packs and managing your gear. Gear management is huge, doesn't matter, military, law enforcement, hunters and competition shooters all need to manage their gear correctly. In this case, context matters.
I am thinking about going modular with gear management. I think the time is right to focus on how we carry our equipment. We'll be addressing this over the next couple of months.
Thanks for listening thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the everyday sniper podcast.
How do you manage your carry, how are you carrying your rifle, your bags, your ammo ?
During this off season take a look at your data management as well as gear management
The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Training Season is Over
As one door closes another door opens. With Training Season over, we enter podcast & livestream season.
I want to start off by thanking everyone who attended training with us in 2024. This was a super successful season, we saw the return of Marc Taylor and entry of Chris Way with our classes. We also had a lot of support and help from Laura during some tough times both recently and in the past. So again thank you to everyone who made it work in 2024.
Ended the season in a couple of locations, we did 2 classes in Ohio then I did a class and a clinic in Virginia finally ending our season in Fort Morgan with an Army Section. Each class had its own unique challenges that in the end, opened my mind to new possibilities.
We tested a lot of variations for classes as well as several tools like using a Starlink system to access the internet on the range. All these tools will enhance the Hide TV experience which is my end goal. On top of providing the very best training possible.
With Podcast season starting up, expect at least 2 episodes a week and at least one of them to be simulcast live on Hide TV. These will have lesson, guest speakers and more. Hide TV is moving forward, we are super happy with the progress and the reception.
To all from US,
Thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thank for interacting and being a part of the Everyday Sniper Podcast.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: CR2 Looks at Weapon Mounted Lasers
This episode of the Everyday Sniper podcast can be found on Video over at Hide TV as well.
Today we have Chris Rance, and Chris Roberts of Cr2 Shooting Solutions to talk weapon mounted lasers as well as the work they did with laser rangefinding binoculars.
In this episode we talk about:
Great discussion on where we are going with this technology. I really appreciate the CR2 Guys, Chris and Chris for coming on to the podcast today.
The Everyday Sniper Podcast: IPRF At Cameo plus Stuff
Spent a few days in Cameo Colorado checking out the IPRF Championship taking place there. Enjoyed visiting with a bunch of friends and doing a train up for Team AI.
We are training this week in Cameo up in the hills, then we head to Precision Rifle Expo, after which it's Ohio and Virginia. If you are interested in participating in a training event, stop by The Hide for more information.
Speaking of Team AI, the new ATXC is out, we went hands on with the rifle and really enjoyed it. Big improvement over the ATX, runs like a custom action now. I pre ordered an ATXC after running the bolt.
Hide TV is coming along nicely. New videos, but also podcasts will be going up on Hide TV. We have a lot of changes taking place and this is just Gen 1 of the platform. GEN 2 is looking to be even better. Stop by the Hide and check it out.
As always, thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the everyday sniper podcast.
Hey Everyday Fan,
Here is a bit of the Test:
Perform the diagnostic from the three most likely positions you anticipate using during the hunt with the same equipment and ammunition. Follow a build-and-break sequence for each shot to simulate hunting conditions.
1. Shoot a Group of 12 Shots: Perform the sequence of 12 build-and-break shots described above at 100 yards, ensuring shots are equally distributed across the three most likely positions you anticipate using during the hunt.
Give us some feedback, new season, Fall of 2024 has just started

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: The Great Reset
So even though I did a couple podcast since My Mom passed away, I wanted to address all the changes that have happened since July 1st.
Topics Covered:
I really appreciate the patience while we transition. I know nobody likes technical difficulties and I understand some of you had technical difficulties, but we also have a pipeline to fix it.
Thank you all, for not just your patience, your support during the passing of my Mom, the changes taking place, and with the entire Sniper's Hide infrastructure. Cheers to you all.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Marc & Frank Lodge Life Once Again
Okay, here it is. Marc is not just talking on the podcast, but addressing students on the line and giving instruction. His movement might not be the best, but his mind is sharp, and his are hammer forging students up and down the line.
We are getting ready to start our 3rd block of instruction in Alaska. Two full classes of students getting ready to head into our 3rd class.
It's a great day up here in Alaska. Marc is on the line working, recovering from his attack, and students are receiving excellent training. We are enjoying it as if nothing even happened.
Thanks to everyone who came up to support Marc. Lots of people stopped by to say hi, as well as those repeat students who came back for Marc. It's much appreciated.
We mentioned our next adventures, so if you can join us,

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Defiance Action 18 Month Follow Up
It's been close to 18 months since Bob Beck and Eric Stecker bought Defiance Actions and it looked like the Internet was going to explode. The Internet drama machined ramped up into overdrive and since that time it's been pretty quiet.
After a short back and forth, we landed, Nick, Bob and Eric on the Everyday Sniper podcast to talk about the transition during the initial moments they bought Defiance through today. Areas of discussion with this episode include:
There is a little bit of business talk when it comes too the financial reality of buying Defiance Actions, however this adds important context to the steps that were taken immediately afterward that angered the shooting community
This was an honest and open discussion, I did not feel anyone was overly defensive which to me was a good sign. And the anticipation of what they are doing moving forward as well as a look where they need to be as a team player.
