We hosted our friend Derek Mack this week for our Sunday Nights gathering on Easter Sunday! He brought a powerful message on love, looking at several passages in the Bible where Christ-like love is exemplified, ultimately pointing us to the cross. He prompts us to reflect on whether we are loving unconditionally like Jesus or if our love is limited by anything in ourselves or in the world around us.

This week at Sunday Nights, we had our friend Frenchie Gamero from YWAM Kona in the house! He preached a message on deliverance and healing, outlining a Biblical basis for how we can partner with the Holy Spirit to see God heal hearts, minds, and bodies!

Bryce Bauman teaches at our local Sunday night gathering about the need for the baptism of the Holy Spirit as followers of Jesus. He explains how to practically live a life of being continually filled with His presence and power. He takes us through the Bible to help better understand the invitation Jesus gives us to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire for the purpose of Christ being revealed and experienced in our lives.

Our good friend Amy Ward joined us for Sunday Nights this week and brought us a message on the Holy Spirit. In this message, she examines the apostle Peter's relationship with the Holy Sprit, draws principles from his life for us to glean from, and calls us into greater dependence on the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

Peyton shares a message about Biblical work and rest at our local Sunday Nights gathering in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He walks us through different passages in Scripture that bring clarity to what God's design is for both work and rest. He explains how work and rest are meant to function together as rhythms and not rules, and describes how these apply to our lives today as believers in Christ.

By examining the life of Moses, we see that humility was not formed overnight; but it is a journey of becoming someone that God can trust. In a self-promoting society, we want to fight to live low so that Christ would be glorified in us. 1 Peter 5:5-6 “God opposes the proud but shows grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”
