What makes us angry?
Studies say many things can trigger anger like stress, tension, anxiety, family problems, and financial issues, broken relationships, personality traits, or victim feelings. For some people, anger is caused by an underlying disorder, such as alcoholism or depression or any other psychosomatic diseases. In modern ages anger itself isn’t considered a disorder, but anger is a known symptom of several mental health conditions.
What Spirituality taught me is that when I am not able to use my inner peace to hear out the other person rationally I get angry. I want to prove myself right and the other person wrong. I am weak and faraway from my original quality of peace. My anger is more dominant than my inner self and I let it win. The conflict is mainly that I am not able to make the other person understand what I want them to do, so I am mad/ furious. Very interestingly, the anger here is for my own self because I am not able to put across my point in the manner I want hence I shout at the others to understand me. This clash makes both sides irrational and ignites anger.
