What makes us angry?
Studies say many things can trigger anger like stress, tension, anxiety, family problems, and financial issues, broken relationships, personality traits, or victim feelings. For some people, anger is caused by an underlying disorder, such as alcoholism or depression or any other psychosomatic diseases. In modern ages anger itself isn’t considered a disorder, but anger is a known symptom of several mental health conditions.
What Spirituality taught me is that when I am not able to use my inner peace to hear out the other person rationally I get angry. I want to prove myself right and the other person wrong. I am weak and faraway from my original quality of peace. My anger is more dominant than my inner self and I let it win. The conflict is mainly that I am not able to make the other person understand what I want them to do, so I am mad/ furious. Very interestingly, the anger here is for my own self because I am not able to put across my point in the manner I want hence I shout at the others to understand me. This clash makes both sides irrational and ignites anger.
to pacify substances like alcohol or drugs are taken but those substances only worsen the anger.
Controversy is a state of prolonged public dispute or debate, usually concerning a matter of conflicting opinion. The word was coined from the Latin controversia, as a composite of controversus – "turned in an opposite direction". Now the bigger question is “What makes things controversial?”
Someone asked me once why do things get controversial? I smiled and answered, mainly our perception. How do we see it and evaluate it in our mind? Every individual has his or her own perspective and they see things through their perspective and thinking. Act on the things through their intellect and process every thought through their capacity, further take it into actions. When the other person’s perspective clashes with our own, the controversy begins and then starts the cycle of proving the other person is wrong and ourselves right. It is almost always the difference of opinions which makes things controversial. So the key component of every controversy is the difference of opinions...
Resentment is often defined as anger and an annoying experience as a result of unfair treatment, and it's a relatively common emotion. In simple words it is a feeling of anger because one has been forced to accept something that she/he does not like. A nagging feeling that you've been treated unfairly in some way by another person.
Resentment is not Jealousy, they are two different emotions. Jealousy is something you don't have but someone else has it ample and you want it badly, so you are jealous of that person. Resentment on the other hand is you are forced to accept something you don't like.
The root cause of resentment can vary from person to person, but it often stems from unmet expectations, perceived injustices, or feelings of powerlessness. It can also be fueled by ongoing conflicts, misunderstandings, or a sense of betrayal.
Why do we need to Forgive? How to deal with a hurt given by someone else, which can't be ever undone, and you are carrying it throughout your life and are unable to free yourself from this burden?
Foremost, stop torturing by thinking of what has happened. The past is bygone, but thinking about it freshens it up every time and the person hurt is stuck in that limbo. You start to relive that moment every time you think of that ugly incident of your life. The whole scenario just flashes back reel by reel and you see the entire film which is horrifying. You could have acted on it at the time when it took place but thinking about it now is not helpful. Instead it is very offensive, the more you think the more you harm yourself. Overthinking depletes the energy of the soul, it blocks the clarity of right thoughts and one is stuck in that experience for a long time.
FORGIVENESS IS FOR YOU NOT FOR OTHERS
I often sit back and think deeply about this word - freedom. Is freedom bound to only borders, walls, fences, closed circuits, and other types of enclosures? OR does the word have a broader and vast connotation? Breaking or crossing the aforementioned enclosures can be done by man power, machine power, nuclear power, and all. So in reality, freedom from such physical enclosures is attainable - right?
But what about freedom from the acquired emotions? Emotions such as anger, lust, greed, rage, jealousy, hatred which have developed over the years. These emotions are the adaptation of our societal, cultural, familial, and national upbringing… for centuries they have been killing morals ,values, love and peace in mankind. Humanity has been butchered by such negative emotions and we all have let that happen. Easily these emotions have overpowered our inner strength and weakened it but to no avail.
So God tells in Bhagavad Gita that everything in the universe goes through three stages from new to medium to old. Whether it is a physical matter or not these three stages happen in all the living or non entities. For example a child becomes a boy then a young man then an adult then an old man and finally leaves the body. Similarly a seed germinates to a plant, a plant to a bush or tree and so on. Or a house from a new house to an old house and then to ruins. God explains- When the object is at its newest time it is at its peak and that time is called the Satto stage of existence when everything is pure and absolute in perfection. Whether it is the human soul, all the five elements of nature, or even the objects all are in their best capacity.
Satto stage is the initial stage in the cycle of existence... Hear the episode for more
MERE - ILLUSION
This world in which you and I live is a mere illusion,
It captivates our faith, our beliefs and our true vision.
It is made up of all the materialism and is full of Ego,
It hurdles our path of wisdom and stops us to further go.
It tricks us into building wrong and false relationships,
It preys upon us like any demon, making us selfish.
It makes us divine it also makes us evil,
It makes us forget our true self and upheaval.
It acts like a mirage, where there is nothing but reflection,
It appears to be so real and true and full of affection.
It encourages us do all wrong deeds,
It helps us sow no fruits but weeds.
It physically hurts and injures our soul,
Today’s interesting question is -Is there any place in reality called Heaven?
Many profound religions believe in the concept of ‘Heaven or Hell’. Human souls go to such places after they leave the body and angels and satan decide according to the karma of those souls where to place them. Do they enter the gates of heaven or do they get kicked into hell. To get a deep understanding of this concept I read several scripts which often said how Heaven is paradise, only people who do good in their lives deserve to be in Heaven. Heaven is a place of contentment, peace, utmost happiness. Heaven is coined as a place where only Deities reside. Similarly, how hell is a purgatory place and people who are sinners forgo their sufferings before entering Heaven. None of the scripts helped me understand if there is a physical existence of any hell or heaven.
On the contrary, I also heard phrases like ‘I am so happy that it seems that I am in Heaven’. ‘Your love makes me feel in heaven’ and so on. None of the phrases gave me any logic behind the concept of heaven or hell rather made things more controversial for me. Through Spirituality I came to know that both Heaven or hell are actually time periods on Earth itself... Shocked? I was too. Let me explain furthermore.
CAN DEAD PEOPLE HEAR ?
I am not sure about the auditory skills because ghosts have no body but they can receive our thoughts and that is Definitely yes!!
As I have always said, thoughts are energy and energy has vibrations, which can reach living or dead people all the time. Spirituality tells us that a soul is most vulnerable when it leaves the body. The soul is very confused and is also unhappy for leaving its loved ones. Plus is able to see the entire lifetime which it just left as a movie being played on its memory disc. The soul is disheartened and helpless to console its loved ones. It is catching every negative or positive thought. The thoughts of sadness, anger, sudden demise, or loneliness are all felt by the soul who has left the body. Even if it goes into a new body immediately it is not attached to its new body but is still with the old set of people and is sad for leaving them. A soul can catch any thoughts given by the family it was in a few days back. It is also a belief in Hinduism that the deceased person lives with the family for about 12 days and then moves on its journey.
