As we near the end of another year, it’s important to reflect on the all that has transpired these previous 12 months. For most of us, 2018 has held times of sorrow and times of joy, yet none of it has gone wasted before God. Before we jump head first into the year, let us consider that the Lord may not be calling us to a New Year’s resolution, per se, but to a new or renewed affection-namely Jesus. When we follow Jesus, we’ll see that He has already granted to us everything that pertains to life and godliness. May He be our aim in this new year!
