It was a golden moment for John Shuster and USA Curling, as Team Shuster defeated Sweden 10-7 to win the gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. 

John Shuster and Tyler George joined us in the aftermath yesterday to talk about their emotions, feelings and more of standing atop the podium, hearing our national anthem and winning the first-ever gold medal in USA Curling history.

Team USA led by skip John Shuster shocked Canada for the second time and for the first time in USA Curling history will play for the gold medal in the Winter Olympic Games.

The round robin is complete at the 2018 Winter Olympics and Team USA’s John Shuster throttled Great Britain 10-4, punching their ticket into the medal round. No. 3 seed Team Shuster will face No. 2 seed Canada and Kevin Koe Thursday morning (6:05 am EST). 

We also broke down the women’s side of the draw and Team USA’s Nina Roth finishing just one win from the medal round at 4-5 overall. Plus Duluth’s Dustin Tomasetti, close friends with Team Shuster, joined us to talk about the excitement around the Duluth Curling Club and more.
