The Extra Mile Podcast For Bar Exam Takers from Celebration Bar Review

In the final installment of a 3-part series, Celebration Bar Review Founder Jackson Mumey looks at how bar takers can get out of the "Dark Wood of Error" and pass their bar exam. Based on Dante's Divine Comedy and Dr. Martha Beck's book, "The Way of Integrity," in this episode, Jackson focuses on The Search for the Teacher. When it becomes clear to the lost wanderer (or student) that they can't hustle their way out of trouble, it's necessary to find a trusted guide to help. How to identify that teacher and what to expect from working with them is critical to success in life and on the bar exam.

Jackson explains why the right teacher can make all the difference in helping you pass the bar exam and find your way out of the Dark Wood!

In part 2 of a 3-part series, Celebration Bar Review Founder Jackson Mumey looks at how bar takers can get out of the "Dark Wood of Error" and pass their bar exam. Based on Dante's Divine Comedy and Dr. Martha Beck's book, "The Way of Integrity," in this episode, Jackson focuses on Being Desperate for Success. Upon finding themselves unsuccessful on the exam, some bar takers see their own version of Dante's Mt. Delectable and being desperate for success, they start to hustle up the hill. Unfortunately, the hustle rarely works. Doing more of the same old thing without success is a recipe for failure and frustration.

Jackson explains why the bar exam cultural hustle and societal expectations that don't match your inner goals and motivation can keep you from success, and how to correct the problem.

Dante's Divine Comedy is a lesson for bar exam takers into the struggle to find success and redemption. In the first part of a new series from Celebration Bar Review Founder Jackson Mumey, this classic allegory is applied to help you find your way out of the "Dark Wood of Error" and into the bright light of passing your bar exam.

Jackson draws on the wisdom of "The Way of Integrity" from Dr. Martha Beck to illustrate the journey of the discouraged bar taker and to offer hope and encouragement for those who are retaking their exams.
