The Fade: Episode One

We introduce a new segment of The RYP: The Fade, a barbershop style conversation that centers on telling the stories of athletes around Mizzou's campus. The Fade has a duel purpose. We want to introduce the athletes we interview as the people that they are. We want to give you the ability to connect to them as individuals to inspire more reason to cheer for them on the court. Secondly, we would like to present the lessons that they have learned through the process of becoming D1 athletes. In this episode, we talk to Torrence Watson, Mitchell Smith, and Javon Pickett. We discuss about the importance of having solid adult mentorship, such as Cuonzo Martin. We also solidify plans for the future album "Monkey Bars." Thanks for listening.
