The Faith Hope Love Church Podcast

Every church has values, but ours are more than words; they’re a way of life. Join us as we unpack the meaning of Faith, Hope, and Love, the foundation of who we are and who we’re becoming. This introductory episode shares the story behind our FHL values, why they matter now more than ever, and how they call each of us to live out God’s purpose in everyday life.

Jeremiah 6:16 (ESV):

'Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.' But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'"

God is calling His people to return to the “ancient paths”, the timeless ways of righteousness and faithfulness that bring life and peace. The “roads” symbolise the choices and directions in life, and God invites people to pause, reflect, and choose the right way. Walking in these paths leads to rest for the soul, meaning true spiritual peace and fulfilment.

Pastor Andrew

Andrew and Jillie come together in a conversation style opening to the story of Deborah and Barrak in Judges. Unpacking the message that every member of the church is called to step into their God-given roles and influence their own spheres. Highlighting the importance of bravery and the role of the Holy Spirit as we love on and encourage people to stay strong. The message encourages believers to lean into God during crises, recognise their unique impact, and support each other in their daily lives. The church is urged to see with supernatural eyes, activate the gifts given by the Holy Spirit, and be a light in their communities.

If we were in the 1950's we would have a leather briefcase in hand stocked with highlighters and HB pencils. Now we have laptops and whiteboards but yes we are in the 'Let's get to Work' mode. On a journey called... The Faith Hope Love Church.

Nothing about this launch has been conventional. Let's be honest who needs conventional anyway.

After a road trip to Brisbane for the C3 Pastors Australia Gathering, it was pointed out to us...

Who releases MERCH before the CHURCH?

Yep, we do!

Join us again for another episode as we journey through the beginnings of a Church.

And don't forget to check out Andrew's new book, "A GLOVEBOX HANDBOOK FOR MEN".

You don't release a new car to the market without putting it under a series of pressure testing. Most of the time God does the same thing to our character- some of our biggest battles won are those in private.

Starting something new takes a lot of guts and hard work. A bit like you're standing at the bottom of a never ending staircase looking up. What comes next we don't know.. but pull out your Fitbit because we are about to hit 10,000 steps.
