God gives us a series of choices throughout our lives. The most importance choice we make every day is the choice to be good—to be kind, to be patient, to be understanding. We must choose to be good, as God Himself chooses to love us each and every day.

The Book of John teaches us that we should not worry for anything. Our hearts should not be troubled for any reason. Instead, we must key our eyes—and our faith—in God.

When the people of God were in trouble, they looked to the wise counsel of Nathan the Prophet. Similarly, we as followers of Christ must look to God’s counsel when we are in need.

The feeling that you’re “running out of time” is something that causes great anxiety and stress in the people of God. What we must remember is that God is the only being who determines our time. And He will move Heaven and Earth to lengthen our days.

Psalm 68 teaches us that when God arises, all of our problems—and our enemies—scatter to the wind. It makes no sense that we worry or be anxious, because God rises to each and every occasion, delivering us from the hand of the wicked.

A day unto us is a thousand years unto the Lord. Let us rejoice each and every day that we are blessed with, and let us use each day to glorify the Lord with our works.

The Son of God is also the Sun of our lives, and His light shines through even in our darkest moments.

Philippians chapter 4 teaches us to worry or want for nothing because God always provides.

Much of what we’re fighting are strongholds, enemies far more powerful than we can imagine. And that is why we exercise our faith in God to help us overcome the strongholds of anxiety, stress, and lack.

God placed the responsibility of guidance and care on the shepherds. It is the shepherd whom the community looks to for counseling, advice, and spiritual leadership. But the shepherds of today have neglected their duties. As a result, the flock is lost. God is now holding the shepherds responsible.
