Nearly half of women owned business in the country (44%) are controlled by minority women. Minority women are still being locked out when it comes to accessing capital. Data from the Federal Reserve shows Black Women are more likely than whites to not access credit. In fact, women and minority business owners are denied loans and pay higher rates of interest.
